ABOUT MERNIE BAKER

Born Myrna C. Willams 1969 in Long Island, NY. A female Puerto Rican American artist. 1992 won a scholarship to paint in Greece then studied abroad the same year in London.  "These experiences made me want to be an artist".

Showed in at Chashama Gallery 42nd Street, NY. Then in San Jose and Los Angeles. In New York has shown in the Tri-state areas Brooklyn, Bronx and more recently in Hudson Valley. Baker's professional art studio is partly sponsored by Great Gunks LLC in Ellenville NY.

Recently  participated in an art fundraiser with Bard College, NY. Upcoming at Public Arts Initiative  Chenango Arts Council NY in September 2015.
